Start with a 15-minute call →The commuters who turn the trip into therapy
The Metro-North crowd from Westchester, Greenwich, New Haven. The Hudson Valley; the LIRR crowd that started using Grand Central Madison the day it opened; office workers in the Chrysler, MetLife, and the Lex and Park towers. The 7:42 from Larchmont gets in at 8:23, and by 9 you have had a session and you are at your desk. We often hear: “I want a therapist I can see weekly without rearranging my life around it.”
Who we serve: commuters from Westchester County, Long Island via LIRR Grand Central Madison, and Connecticut via Metro-North. Plus office workers in 10017 and the Park and Lexington building zips (10168 to 10173).

When work and commute leave very little time, and the marriage has become logistics.

Before you book
I commute on Metro-North: can I do a session before my morning train?
Yes. We start at 7 AM. If your train pulls in at 7:30, you can be in our 8 AM session and at your desk by 9. Many commuters use exactly this slot.
I take LIRR to Grand Central Madison: same access?
Same access. It is about a 7-minute walk from the Madison concourse exit at 43rd and Madison, easier than fighting through the main concourse.
What happens if Metro-North is delayed and I arrive 15 minutes late?
The session runs for the time that remains, since we do not extend past the hour out of fairness to the next patient. If delays are a recurring issue, many commuters find the before-work slot removes the risk, since early-morning trains tend to run more reliably.
Can I hold a standing session only on days I am already in the city?
We work on a weekly rhythm because therapy moves better with consistent contact. If you are in the city two or three days a week on a predictable pattern, we find a slot in that window. Week-by-week scheduling based on when you happen to be in tends to slow the work.
Can I do online sessions from the train, or if a storm makes commuting unsafe?
Yes. Most commuter patients mix in-person days with online sessions on lighter office days. Severe weather is a clear use case for the online option. The clinician stays the same across in-person and video, so you do not lose the slot.
Can I see a grief therapist near Grand Central?
Yes. Our office is five minutes from Grand Central, easy to reach off Metro-North or the LIRR. Our team works with grief, bereavement, and complicated grief that has not eased with time. In person at 141 East 35th, or online on the days you work from home.
What insurance do you accept?
We are in-network with Aetna and Cigna. Out-of-network is welcome, and we provide superbills you file for reimbursement, which depends on your individual PPO plan.
The first slot you try is often wrong. The second one sticks.
There are trains before 8 AM the rest of the day forgets about. The 15-minute matching call finds the slot that fits your commute. We go over the exact questions to ask your Aetna or Cigna plan on the same call: no obligation, no card.
